Healthy Sleep Solutions, Australia’s largest facilitator of home based sleep studies, announced the introduction of their sleep apnea treatment services. The practice has helped hundreds of thousands of patients get a proper diagnosis for this sleep condition and find solutions to help them manage their issues so they can sleep better at night.

“Healthy Sleep Solutions is committed to helping people afflicted with sleep apnea live longer, healthier, happier and more fulfilling lives,” said a Sleep Technologist at Healthy Sleep Solutions. “On the recommendations of independent sleep physicians and under the supervision of their referring doctors, our practice has tested and treated over 100,000 patients, and this number only continues to grow. Our unique patient pathway and expertise in treatment options helps ensure that patients get the results they’re looking for, and we’re thrilled to be able to help patients finally get the sleep they need and deserve.”

The Healthy Sleep Solutions Patient Pathway is a complete solution for the diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). For their team, the first step on the path to relief is the proper identification of sleep apnea. Once the patient obtains a referral from their physician and undertakes a home-based overnight sleep study, a trained physician will provide them with a diagnosis and management recommendations within two weeks. Looking after OSA patients is multidisciplinary and may include managing weight loss, hypertension, type 2 diabetes or depression, and Healthy Sleep Solutions has a variety of treatment options available to fit patients’ individual needs.

The sleep specialist went on to say, “Sleep apnea is so much more than snoring or feeling tired during the day. It’s a serious medical condition that starves the body of oxygen and leads to other serious health issues. Fortunately, this doesn’t have to be any patient’s fate. Those that believe they may be at risk for this condition deserve specialized testing and treatment options that will help them thrive, and that’s exactly what we can provide for them. With the help of our physicians, patients can rest easy at night and finally get back to living their best lives.”
