Car strikes building in downtown Charleston following 2-vehicle accident

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

A car struck a building in downtown Charleston following an accident Thursday afternoon. 

Police say it started as an accident involving two cars on King and Market streets. 

One of the vehicles then struck a building on 146 Market St which caused minor damage to the building. 

No one was transported to the hospital.

    A man’s car was reportedly stolen at gunpoint Thursday morning following an altercation with another individual. According to a Myrtle Beach Police Department incident report, officers responded to the 900 block of White Street where they met with the 23-year-old victim.
