Easley police charge mother after baby's November death

EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Easley police have arrested a woman in connection with the November death of her infant son.

According to warrants, the child died on November 8, 2017. 

Kendall Reid Bishop, 21, was arrested on January 6 after warrants state she placed the child at unreasonable risk of harm. Medical tests indicated that she had cocaine, morphine, marijuana, and Xanax, for which she did not have a prescription, in her system at the time of the baby’s death, warrants state.

She was charged with unlawful conduct towards a child and false information to police, according to Pickens County jail records.
