In search of someone who likes fruitcake

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

When you decide to set out to find a soul who loves the classic holiday treat, fruitcake, you could be in for a long day. 

Person after person I asked, responded with a face that said the answer before their mouth did.

“Do you like fruitcake?” was more often than not met with a resounding, “No!”

But I kept on pressing, just knowing someone, somewhere still enjoys a delicious slice of all the fruity goodness that cake can muster.

And I got lucky.

    The fifth and final suspect wanted in connection with the Christmas Eve murder of a Lake City man was taken into custody in Columbus, Ohio on January 12. Justin Marquise Pringle, 21, was charged with four other men in the murder of 74-year-old Johnny Cameron on December 24, 2017 at the victim’s home on Old Georgetown Road in Lake City, according to a news release from the Florence County Sheriff's Office.
