NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Drew Brees passed for 376 yards and two touchdowns and the New Orleans Saints held off Carolina's late comeback bid to seal a 31-26 victory in their NFC wild-card game. The Panthers had a first down on the Saints 26-yard line with 58 seconds left but heavy pressure by All-Pro defensive end Cameron Jordan a couple plays later induced an intentional grounding penalty on Carolina quarterback Cam Newton. Another sack by Vonn Bell ended the game.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Lexie Brown hit a season-high seven 3-pointers and scored a career-high 34 points to lead No. 17 Duke to a 69-56 win over North Carolina State on Sunday. Haley Gorecki added 13 points, making 3 of 4 3-pointers, for the Blue Devils.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Sophie Cunningham was too much for South Carolina to handle for the second straight year, scoring 27 points to lead No. 15 Missouri to an 83-74 victory over the fourth-ranked Gamecocks on Sunday. Cunningham , who suffered a right knee sprain last week, returned with a knee brace but showed no ill effects.

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) - Tyler Seibring scored 22 points and all the Elon starters reached double figures in an 89-76 victory over Hofstra on Sunday, overcoming a career-high 39 points by Justin Wright-Foreman. Seibring and Dmitri Thompson, who finished with 18 points, reached the 1,000 career mark.
