Dillon man charged with shooting four in Illinois bar

DILLON, SC (WMBF) – A Dillon man has been arrested in connection with a weekend shooting at an Illinois bar that injured four.

According to information on the Rock Falls, Ill. Police Department’s Facebook page, Seth Thomas Wallace, 32, was charged with four counts of aggravated battery with a firearm.

The shooting took place at the Cooler bar on April 15 in Rock Falls.

Wallace is currently being held at the Dillon County Detention Center on a $1 million bond, according to the RFPD. He is awaiting extradition back to Illinois.

According to NBC affiliate KWQC in Davenport, Iowa, the suspect is a distant cousin of the bar’s owner. He allegedly entered the establishment, shot four people, and left.

According to a news release, two males forcibly entered a home on Ed Smith Road around 6:00 a.m. Friday morning. Once inside the home, the men demanded money from the victims.
