MARION, SC (WMBF) – SLED will be investigating discrepancies, including a woman who had a problem trying to cast her vote during the City of Marion's election on April 11, according to Teresa Moody, Marion County Voter Registration Director.
The woman said that the computer showed her that she already voted by an absentee ballot, but the woman said she didn't.
According to Moody, SLED is meeting with her tomorrow.
Moody also added that the time to protest has already past, so any decision made by SLED would not have an impact on the election. She said the vote tally is a large enough difference that the election would be not overturned.
