FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Downtown Florence is continuing to evolve to meet the growing needs of a new business in the area.

Dolce Vita, is now in a new larger location, offering more options.

The coffee shop and wine bar is now operating just two doors down out of the old 1031 space.

The new space offers downtown’s first grab a go lunches.

Owner Dr. John Keith said he saw an opportunity and decided to expand his business model to meet that demand.

“We really wanted a café feel and hopefully we have accomplished that. We wanted to blend essentially three different worlds. We wanted to continue with our morning coffee program and then we wanted to add that lunch component and then continue with the wine in the evening,” Doctor Keith said.

Dolce Vita is on North Dargan Street and its now offering an array of sandwiches, flatbread pizzas muffins.

Doctor Keith said he is currently looking for a new tenant to fill the old Dolce Vita space.

“I am putting it out there. I think that space would be perfect for someone who wants to do ice cream or gelato, anyone with a great idea… it is available for lease as of today,” Keith said.
