One person shot in road rage incident in Darlington County

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – One person was shot following a road rage incident on I-20 in Darlington County Tuesday evening, according to Lt. Robby Kilgo with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of a Honda and the driver of a pickup truck got off at the Lamar exit, Kilgo added.

According to statements from witnesses, approximately three rounds were fired and the driver of the pickup truck was struck in the foot.

Two males were allegedly in the Honda.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
