LATTA, SC (WMBF) – A GoFundMe page has been established to offer financial support to the family of the 4-year-old Latta boy who was injured Wednesday night after a tree fell onto their home.

According to the page, the child’s name is Connor Miles and he is being treated for the injuries he sustained.

The goal is to raise $10,000 to help the family, who also saw their home and vehicles damaged when the tree fell during Wednesday’s strong storm. As of 3:30 p.m. Thursday, approximately $5,255 in donations had come in.

On Thursday, neighbors and friends of the family, along with firefighters, were trying to repair the Miles’ home, which is located on Bethea Street.
