Three Marion suspects arrested in connection to shooting, home invasion

MARION, SC (WMBF) – Three Marion men have been arrested in connection to a shooting and home invasion that occurred on Belin Ct. in Marion on December 22, 2016, according to a press release from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Cierra Grant, 28, Keith Charles, 32 and Larry White, 20 are charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, 1st degree burglary, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during commission of a violent crime.

According to the release, Grant is out on a $30,000 surety bond. White is currently in the South Carolina Department of Corrections on unrelated charges. Charles is being held in the Marion County Detention Center.

    BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify a suspect who robbed a BP gas station Saturday night, according to a release. The suspect robbed the gas station at 5053 Southport-Supply Road in Southport around 8:30 Saturday night. CCU students Tyler Bealmear and Kaycelyn Laymon have a love and passion for children and education, their hearts broken by the tragedy, but each refusing to let situations like these continue.
