Nichols to receive three police cruisers from Myrtle Beach following Hurricane Matthew

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The town of Nichols is about to receive three used police cruisers from the city of Myrtle Beach.

According to information on the city's Facebook page, the plain white Sedans are being donated to Nichols, which is still reeling from Hurricane Matthew.

The three Ford Crown Victory police cruisers are 2006 models with approximately 100,000 miles each, the post stated. They would have been sold via an online auction.

While the Myrtle Beach insignia is missing from the cars, the equipment is still inside.
