Driver rescued from upside-down car following crash in North Myrtle Beach

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – No one was seriously injured in a three-car crash Wednesday afternoon in North Myrtle Beach that left one vehicle on its roof.

According to information on North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue’s Facebook page, crews were dispatched to 11th Avenue South and U.S. 17 South around 1 p.m. When they arrived, they found one of the vehicles on its roof, with the driver still belted inside.

The occupants of the other vehicles were out when first responders arrived, according to the NMBFR. Crews then worked to stabilize the upside-down car and remove the driver.

It took roughly 30 minutes to clear the scene.
