Three injured in multi-car crash on U.S. 501 Business at S.C. 90

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – At least three people were injured in a multi-car crash Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 501 Business at S.C. 90 in the Conway area, according to information from the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Information on the SCHP’s website states the crash happened at 2:59 p.m. on Wednesday.

SCHP Cpl. Sonny Collins said three cars were involved in the crash and at least three people were transported.

The crash happened when a vehicle crossed the center line of the road and hit Hyundai head on and then side-swiped another vehicle, according to Collins. He added a medical helicopter responded to the scene.

    The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects after a home invasion in Mullins. According to a news release, two males forcibly entered a home on Ed Smith Road around 6:00 a.m. Friday morning. Once inside the home, the men demanded money from the victims. One of the suspects was armed.
