MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A new Walmart Neighborhood Market is set to open Wednesday, March 22, at 1705 S. Kings Hwy. in Myrtle Beach.

According to a press release, a grand opening ceremony will take place Wednesday at 7 a.m. and continue throughout the weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, customers can enjoy a variety of family activities, the release stated. They will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 25, and 12 to 4 p.m. on March 26.

The store will create 95 new jobs in the community, according to the release. It will be different from many other Walmart Neighborhood Markets, as it will feature updated signage, polished granite floors, lower counter tops in the deli and bakery for easier ordering, wider aisles, and made-to-order pizza.
