ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – A number of arrests on drug and gun charges were made Thursday in Robeson County during a joint operation between the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office and the local Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealey confirmed the arrests, saying they came from several locations throughout the county.

He did not have any further details at this time.

Thursday’s arrests come more than a year after the February 2016 “Operation Ground Zero” law enforcement initiative netted 123 arrests, served 170 warrants and seized a number of weapons.
