HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Motorists on U.S. 501 can expect congestion during their drive on Thursday afternoon.
According to information from the South Carolina Department of Transportation, there is traffic congestion on U.S. 501 South between S.C. 544 and Waccamaw Pines Drive.
Additionally, there is congestion on U.S. 501 North between Carolina Forest Boulevard/West Perry Road and Waccamaw River Bridge, according to the SCDOT.
Information on the South Carolina Highway Patrol's website lists three separate collisions on U.S. 501.
The first is at U.S. 501 South near Tanger Outlets, where injuries are listed.
Another is at U.S. 501 South near Walmart and Myrtle Ridge Drive. No injuries are reported, according to the SCHP.
The third is at U.S. 501 and Gardner Lacy Road. According to the SCHP, injuries were reported with this collision.
