Snoop Dogg coming to House of Blues May 2

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The House of Blues will become the Dogghouse on May 2 – Snoop Dogg is coming to North Myrtle Beach.

The House of Blues Myrtle Beach announced on their Facebook page that the Doggfather himself is performing here on May 2 as part of his Wellness Retreat 2017 tour. Opening acts include Flatbush Zombies and Berner.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8:30 p.m., according to the event listing. It is an all-ages show, subject to parental discretion.

Tickets go on sale for the public at 10 a.m. Friday, and below are early ticket sale dates and times:

Snoop Dogg recently generated controversy for a music video in which the rapper points a toy gun at a clown dressed like President Trump and pulls the trigger. Trump tweeted Wednesday morning: "Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama?     A Longs man was struck by a vehicle in Atlantic Beach Wednesday evening, and died in the hospital that night. Horace Evans, 65, was struck by a vehicle while walking at Highway 17 and 30th Avenue South in Atlantic Beach at 5:30 p.m., according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.
