MARION COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Two men who were involved in an armed robbery at the Dollar General, located on North Highway 501 Business, March 6 were arrested, according to a press release from the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
Cash was seized from 19-year-old Joshua Devon Taylor at the time of his arrest. According to the report, the cash belonged to Dollar General.
Both Taylor and Jamie Williams, 21, of Dillon was charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during commission of a violent crime.
"These two violent offenders came into the county to rob a local business and threatened to shoot the employees. I'd like to thank all agencies involved for getting these two dangerous individuals off the street," said Sheriff Brian Wallace.
Taylor and Williams are being held at the Marion County Detention Center on a $125,000 surety bond.
