HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A victim told police that he was changing the tire of his car when he was slashed and robbed on Dunn Shortcut Road Monday afternoon, according to a report from Horry County Police Department.

The man said that two suspects who were in an older model Toyota Corolla pulled up next to him and asked if he needed help.

He said that he declined the offer, and in moments later they returned.

According to the report, one of the men said something similar to, “give me every f****** thing you got.”

The victim told the suspect that he’s a man and wasn’t going to hand his wallet or anything over. The suspect had a knife and began to attack, the report states.

The victim suffered a slice in the abdomen area. EMS treated the victim on the scene, and he was then transported to the hospital by a friend.

He also told police that the suspect took $650 in cash that he had in an Anderson Brothers Bank envelope.

The suspects left Dunn Shortcut Road towards Juniper Bay Road. The officers were unable to locate their vehicle.
