ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – Two men are behind bars and charged in connection with the armed robbery of a Robeson County Dollar General on Sunday night.
According to Rowland Police Chief John Reeves, Maurice Ladson and Craig Parnell Jones are both charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon and resisting public officers.
Additionally, Ladson is charged with a second count of robbery with a deadly weapon, while Jones faces a charge of carrying a concealed weapon, according to Reeves.
The chief added that Jones also has multiple traffic violations.
Both men remained in the Robeson County Detention Center Monday under a $50,000 bond.
Reeves said the robbery happened at the Dollar General on North Bond Street in Rowland.
