MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach police are looking for a man who reportedly beat his girlfriend and is now wanted for domestic violence, according to the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Jerren Roshard Dozier had an argument with his girlfriend over who he had been hanging out with days prior. The argument then escalated to a physical assault between the two in the parking lot of the Sand Dollar Motel December 22, the police report states.

An officer said the girlfriend was left with bruises on her face, neck, mouth, and a cut above her eyebrow. Pictures were taken of the victim, and a written statement was obtained.

The couple separated after the assault was over, and the victim only contacted Dozier for her belongings, but with no success.

Dozier, a 33-year-old black male, was last seen wearing a blue pull over hoodie with Penn State on the back and jeans. He has medium length brown dreads and is approximately 5-foot-6-inches tall and 150 pounds.

If anyone has any information, contact the Myrtle Beach Police Department at 843-918-1382.
