WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to a fatal traffic collision Tuesday night in Williamsburg County.
According to information on the SCHP’s website, the crash happened at 6:09 p.m., in the area of Saxon Road and F. Guerry Road.
Williamsburg County Coroner Harrison McKnight confirmed that 19-year-old Darrius Johnson, a pedestrian, was killed after being struck by a vehicle.
According to the SCHP, the vehicle was a 2001 Dodge truck. The crash remains under investigation.
