Christmas is less than two weeks away and I can feel the excitement is building. Families will get to be together and celebrate the season.
It is such a special time for children especially, which unfortunately adds stress for many parents who know they can't provide the gifts they want for their kids because of many different circumstances. That's where the Salvation Army Angel Tree program steps in.
WMBF News partnered with the charity this year to make sure all children in the Grand Strand and Pee Dee are able to receive presents and experience that joy.
It's now the final push to get all of the angels adopted. You have until this Friday, December 16 to adopt an angel and turn in the gifts. It's been so heartwarming to see all the bicycles, dolls, coats and boots being brought into our lobby and to know that your generosity and thoughtfulness will have such a huge impact on so many children in our community.
