On the second day of the WMBF News Christmas Cookie Countdown brought to you by Croissants Bistro and Bakery, we're showing you how to make: Snickerdoodles!


2 3/4 cups AP flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup softened butter
11/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
cinnamon sugar for rolling


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Whisk flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt together. Set aside.
Cream butter. Add sugar. Slowly add eggs.
Add dry ingredients.
Cover and chill for two hours.
Roll dough into l-inch balls and roll in cinnamon sugar.
Bake 8 - 10 minutes.

If you don't feel like baking, you can always head down to Croissants, where they will have cookie trays available every day until Christmas!
