HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Tuesday morning’s showers will last through mid to late afternoon before slowly starting to taper off.

Rain will be heavy at times, along with gusty winds. The area is expected to get about an inch-and-a-half to two inches of rain throughout the day.

Fog could develop overnight and linger through Wednesday morning.

Tuesday temperatures will be in the upper 60s by the afternoon and drop to the 40s tonight.

Wednesday and Thursday will be seasonable before a strong cold front moves through and brings in very cold weather Friday and Saturday, with highs only in the 40s and lows in the 20s.
