MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach Fire units responded to a fire at the Ocean Reef Tuesday morning around 2:30.

The fire was contained to one room on the 14th floor, according to Chief Bruce Arnel with Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue.

One male was flown to Augusta for unknown medical reasons.

Chief Arnel says that the building is older, and there wasn't a sprinkler inside because it wasn't required at the time it was built.

Sgt. Clothier with the Myrtle Beach Police Department said the fire is under investigation for any possible suspicious activity.
