Police: Two suspects robbed Happy Glass Smoke Shop at gunpoint

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Two men robbed the Happy Glass Smoke Shop at gunpoint on Tuesday, November 22 in the Conway area, according to information from Lt. Raul Denis.

Reports state that the men were spotted in their get-away vehicle on Church Street on Hwy 501 in Conway, and a Conway PD Officer tried to stop the car.

Kyron A. Pyatt, 17, of Conway and Timothy Spain, 16, of Conway abandoned their car and ran in separate directions, but were apprehended without further incident, according to Lt. Denis.

Both suspects will be charged as adults, and with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, the report states.

Pyatt and Spain face the same charges for another armed robbery committed the previous night, Monday, November 21, where they are accused of robbing a customer at the Speedway convenience store located at 1120 Hwy 501.

    The West Florence Fire Department battled a house fire Sunday afternoon, according to Captain Anthony Fox. The call came in around 3:45 for Combray Circle. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a house with visible flames and smoke. The fire was shortly controlled. The damage to the home is limited to the car port area and in the attic. The fire has been determined to be accidental, and there were no injuries.
