Construction equipment catches fire at Broadway at the Beach Saturday

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach firefighters responded to Broadway at the Beach Saturday to find construction equipment on fire in the parking lot.

Firefighters responded to a false alarm call at Club Oz at about 10:41 p.m., according to Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue Chief Bruce Arnel. When they arrived on scene, they saw fire coming from the parking lot area.

Firefighters then found pine straw and construction equipment on fire. Chief Arnel said everything was extinguished without further incident.
