HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Horry County police responded to an incident that involved a man who exposed himself to a woman at a pool in “The Bluffs” housing development on October 30, according to HCPD’s police report.

The victim and a witness said Jefferson Long who is also a resident of the housing development was acting suspicious from the time he entered the pool area.

The victim said that when Long was in the pool he was fondling with himself or possibly dropping the bathing suit.

Long was then seen talking to another female in a lounge chair, and after a brief conversation she left the area, the police report states.

Soon after, the suspect dropped his towel and stood fully naked towards the victim, according to the report.

After exposing himself to only the victim, he walked past and drove away from the pool area.

According to the officer, surveillance cameras show exactly where the exposure is made.

Long was booked into J Reuben Long Detention Center and charged with indecent exposure.

There is an ongoing investigation of this case.
