Coastal Grand Mall will offer incentives for early bird Black Friday shoppers

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Coastal Grand Mall is looking for to ushering in the holidays on Black Friday. 

The mall plans to be closed on Thanksgiving Day, with the exception of a few anchor stores that have an outside entrance. Tori Dean, Marketing Director for Coastal Grand, says it all about bringing the magic back to Black Friday shopping. 

"We want everyone to come in, shop, have great time, and remember how fun it is to be here, and waking up early to to shop with all the great deals going on," said Dean. 

Mall hours on Black Friday are from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. the Friday after Thanksgiving. For all the early risers ready to get the deals, the mall plans to offer a surprise gift. 

"For the first 1,000 customers, that come in to shop at the mall, we're going to reward you. We got a little surprise gift for you, and throughout the day we'll be doing random acts of kindness, and if you use the hashtag, #makeblackfridayyours, we'll also be giving out gift cards from our retailers," explained Dean. 

 Dean says they really want to thank customers for coming out to shop, and they also want to get people in the holiday spirit, they also plan to have entertainment for the Salvation Army Brass Band, as Santa will make a visit.

"On Tuesday nights, we actually have Santa Paws Pet Photos, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m," Dead added. " Santa gets in a special suit, and people can bring their four-legged family members to have their picture taken with Santa. Santa will also be here to take pictures with kids, and family, everyday until Christmas."

Dick’s 6 p.m.

Ulta 6 p.m.

JCPenney 3 p.m.

    The West Florence Fire Department battled a house fire Sunday afternoon, according to Captain Anthony Fox. The call came in around 3:45 for Combray Circle. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a house with visible flames and smoke. The fire was shortly controlled. The damage to the home is limited to the car port area and in the attic. The fire has been determined to be accidental, and there were no injuries.

    The South Carolina Highway Patrol is reporting a motor vehicle accident on Highway 544 and Big Block Road.  Horry County Fire Rescue has reported this to be a fatal accident involving a motorcycle.
