The Chanticleers will host former conference rival Radford at 2 pm Thursday. Radford won the Big South this season to earn the league’s automatic berth. Coastal defeated the Highlanders 2-1 earlier this season (Sept. 24) in Radford. The win spurred a strong end to the season as Coastal posted an 8-2-2 record over its last 12 matches. Overall, Coastal owns a 20-13-4 advantage in the series. Radford and UNC Asheville are CCU’s second-most common opponent with 37 previous encounters. (CCU’s most common opponent is Winthrop at 48 meetings.)
