Elementary students thank Horry County officers for work during Hurricane Matthew

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Some Horry County fourth-graders took time to thank emergency responders for what they did to keep the community safe during Hurricane Matthew.

According to a post on the Horry County Police Department’s Facebook page, fourth-grade students at Carolina Forest Elementary School sent letters to the department to show their appreciation for the officers’ work during the storm and the subsequent flooding.
