CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Monday in the case of the man who pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and obstruction of justice in connection to the 2014 disappearance of Angie Pipkin.

According to 15th Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson, Randy Gale Robinson’s hearing is set to take place at 2 p.m., Monday at the Horry County Government and Justice Center.

Robinson’s plea was accepted by Judge Steven John on Nov. 8. He was originally charged with murder in connection to Pipkin’s disappearance.

Pipkin, 32, was reported missing by her family in January 2014. Her remains were found in May of that year along the Big Pee Dee River in Florence County.
