Hartsville celebrates National Recycle Day

HARTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) - The City of Hartsville will be participating in National Recycle Day on Tuesday, November 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Environmental Service office located at 500 Poole Street, according to the city’s press release.

Items that can be recycled include old computers, cellphones, printers, and other technologies.

The press release also states that a recycling slogan contest will be available for elementary, middle school, and high school students.

Submissions can be emailed to lori.horton@hartsvillesc.gov by 5pm on November 10th. The submissions should include the slogan, grade, name, and phone number that they can be reached at.
