MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Walk to End Alzheimer's is taking place this year on Saturday, November 5 at the Market Common in Myrtle Beach, with registration beginning at 2 p.m. and the walk at 3 p.m.
Hundreds of Grand Strand residents will reunite as part of a national movement to raise money for Alzheimer's case, support and research efforts. In 2015, the Myrtle Beach walk raised nearly $80,000 contributed to the more than $77 million raised nationwide.
Registration for the event begins at 2 p.m. at the Grand Park at Market Common, followed by an opening ceremony at 2:45, and the walk itself at 3 p.m.
