HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Horry County Police have identified a man wanted in connection with a shooting at Palmetto Pointe apartments that sent two people to the hospital Sunday night.

At about 9 p.m. Sunday night, police responded to a shooting at a residence at Palmetto Pointe apartments on St. Ives road, according to officials. Officers found a 42-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were shot during a domestic dispute. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition is now known, but they are expected to recover from their injuries.

According to a patrol sergeant with HCPD, the shooting was domestic-related. According to the police report, the female victim told police that the suspect was her boyfriend, and he was upset because she "would not be with him."

Detectives are looking for 39-year-old Tyrone Edward James, of Myrtle Beach, in connection with the shooting. James is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached, officials states. The report states that James fled the scene in a red Chevy Malibu, and may have been heading toward Canterbury Drive in Conway. Anyone with information on James' whereabouts is asked to call local law enforcement immediately.
