DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) – A suspect was taken into custody by Darlington police on Thursday in connection with a 2014 armed robbery.
According to a press release from the Darlington Police Department, Constevious Marion Gee, 23, of Darlington, was charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
He remained in the Darlington County Detention Center Friday night under a $30,000 bond, according to online jail records.
According to the DPD, the robbery happened on June 19, 2014 near Third Street in the city limits of Darlington.
The suspect allegedly robbed two people at gunpoint while wearing a mask before fleeing the area.
Evidence was gathered at the scene and sent to the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division for a DNA analysis, the release stated.
