MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach Police personnel who also served in the armed forces were presented with handmade quilts as part of the Quilts of Valor program Monday.

The one-of-a-kind quilts were presented to personnel who served in the armed forces during a time of conflict, the name of the quilt maker was announced, and the quilt was draped around the officer's shoulders at the presentation Monday afternoon, according to a Facebook post from MBPD.
