Investigators arrest fifth suspect involved with Timmonsville homicide

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) – A fifth suspect who was wanted in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Bobby Junior Evans is now in custody and arrested for attempted murder, kidnapping, and accessory before the fact of a felony, according to Florence County Sheriff’s Office press release.

Edwin Evander Small, 29, of Florence was the 5th suspect wanted in connection with the murder of Bobby Junior Evans who was reported missing by family members on October 3, the press release states.

Evans’ body was discovered on October 10 near Victor White Road in Timmonsville.

The press release also states that Briheem Anthony Williams was arrested on October 13 and charged with murder.

Kevin Deshawn Rogers, Antonio Levern McAllister, and Ronnie Rondell Jackson, Jr. were taken into custody on October 18 for encouraging Williams to murder Bobby Evans, according to the press release.

Small is being held at the Florence County Detention Center at this time without bond.
