Disaster recovery center opening in Marion County

COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) – A disaster recovery center will open in Mullins on Saturday to help residents with damages and losses from Hurricane Matthew. 

According to a Marion County press release, the center will be open Monday through Saturday until further notice. 

The hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturday. It will be closed on Sunday.

Representatives from the South Carolina Emergency Management Division, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. Small Business Administration and other public and private agencies are at the center to explain disaster assistance programs and help survivors with applications for aid.
