HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The man accused of murder in the case of Angie Pipkin, who went missing in 2014, is set to go to trial next week.
According to the November trial roster from the Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor's Office released Friday, Randy Gale Robinson's case will go to trial the week of Nov. 14.
Robinson, 49, remains incarcerated at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center, according to online jail records.
According to an arrest warrant for murder from the Horry County Police Department, Robinson "did with malice aforethought strike Angie Pipkin, victim, about her person which resulted in her death."
The warrant alleged that on Jan. 17, 2014, Robinson struck Pipkin at a home on Sullivan Drive, dismembered her body and then disposed of it in a body of water in Darlington County.
Robinson is also charged with obstruction of justice in connection with the search for Pipkin.
Police said Robinson provided them with false information as to his whereabouts the night Pipkin disappeared.
