MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Barc Parc South has significant damage following Hurricane Matthew and crews are working to put the pieces back together, according to Myrtle Beach City Government's Facebook post.
More than 30 trees are down, and as a result of the fallen trees, the fences are knocked down as well.
The post states that the park is not safe until the damages are fixed. For that reason, the park will not be ready to reopen this week.
However, Barc Parc North, located at 5000 Claire Chapin Epps Drive, is open to the public.
