DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – As a result of Hurricane Matthew, Darlington County School District had to revise its calendar, according to DCSD's press release.
Students in the Darlington County School District missed seven student days. As required by law, the district will make up three of the missed days by using the inclement weather days noted on the district calendar, the press release states.
Thursday, October 20, February 20, March 17, and May 12 are now regular school days.
Several deadlines and dates have changed as a result of the recent inclement weather. The end of the first quarter has been changed to October 28 and report cards will be sent home on November 4, 2016.
