MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – An officer heard gunshots on Nance Street and Acline Avenue in Myrtle Beach on Monday around 3:30 a.m., according to a police report from Myrtle Beach PD.

The officer found a man running between houses, and followed him to a car. There were three men and an underage female inside the vehicle, according to the report.

The young woman told police the men had just armed robbed an illegal tattoo artist in Socastee and left.

The tattoo artist followed them, rammed into their car, and started firing shots at them in Myrtle Beach, the report states.

They fired shots back and the tattoo artist eventually left from the scene, according to the police report.

The officer said drugs were found on 19-year-old Noah Barrett and a gun, registered as stolen.

Barett was arrested and charged with drugs and unlawful carrying of a pistol.
