HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Impact Ministries and the Waccamaw Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) are partnering to assist homeowners in Horry County with damage left by Hurricane Matthew.
Once homeowners have a chance to safely assess their properties, they can visit: http://www.goimpactmb.org/disasterrelief to fill out an application for assistance, which includes debris removal, removal of mud or water, sheetrock, and more, according to a news release from the county.
Once the application is submitted, homeowners will receive a response and assessors will be sent out as soon as it is safe to do so, the release states.
“It is important to fill out the application as soon as possible to receive assistance,” the release states. “For more information, contact VOAD in the Horry County Emergency Operations Center at 843-915-5908.”
