Florence County law enforcement search for man missing since Sept. 15

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person not seen since last month.

According to an FCSO press release, family members of Bobby Junior Evans, 18, of Timmonsville, notified law enforcement on Monday that he had not been seen or heard from since Sept. 15.

He was last seen on North Cashua Drive near Florence wearing blue jeans.

Evans is described as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to call FCSO investigators at (843) 665-2121, ext. 360, or Crime Stoppers of the Pee Dee at (888) CRIME-SC.

    A fire at Heavenly Grace Ministries Church in the Myrtle Beach area just after midnight Wednesday has been deemed suspicious, according to officials. Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the church on Peachtree road at 12:13 a.m. Wednesday, according to an HCFR news release.
