HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Law enforcement have released further details about an apparent murder-suicide over the weekend in an area near the Bucksport community that left four people dead, including a 10-month-old and a 2-year-old child.

According to an Horry County Police Department incident report, officers responded to the home at 8401 Martin Luther King Drive at 12:30 a.m., on Oct. 1 after a woman knocked on a neighbor’s door and said she had been assaulted by the suspect.

When officers went inside the home, they reportedly found one of the victims, 40-year-old Kristina Burroughs, seated in a chair in the living room, with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the right side of the neck, the report stated.

Ten-month-old Justice Burroughs was reportedly found in a bedroom, according to the report. Emergency responders tried to locate a pulse, but were unsuccessful.

The alleged shooter, Keith Davis, 51, was also found in the bedroom directly next to the left side of the bed with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the right side of the head, according to the report. A firearm was also reportedly found on the bed.

Those three were pronounced dead at the scene. The fourth victim, 2-year-old Katylin Bellamy, was taken to Conway Medical Center due to critical injuries suffered during the shooting. She died Sunday at 2:25 p.m., from those injuries.

Davis was reportedly Burroughs’ boyfriend, but not the father of the children, according to the incident report.
