ACC Championship headed to Orlando

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WMBF) – The ACC football championship game has been moved to Camping World Stadium in Orlando on December 3rd. The game will kick at either 7:45 or 8:00 and be broadcast on ABC or ESPN.

The decision comes after the ACC pulled the game from Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium due to North Carolina's controversial House Bill 2 legislation. All neutral-site championships scheduled to be held in the state will no longer be played there.

The football championship had been held at the Carolina Panthers home stadium since 2010.

Last year, Clemson beat North Carolina in Charlotte to earn a trip to the College Football Playoff.

Refunds to tickets that had previously been bought will be given in full, including taxes and service charges.
