MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach will face North Myrtle Beach this Friday in a game that features two undefeated teams, and also marks the kickoff of region play for those two schools. For the Seahawks, their 6-0 record this year is powered thanks in large part to senior wide receiver Keyonte Sessions, who has improved his versatility for Mickey Wilson's team.
Listed as a defensive back and wideout, his roles go beyond just those two positions for this season. He has scored out of the wildcat every game so far this year, and has become one of the most reliable parts of the Seahawk offense.
"You know, Keyonte is a guy who is just so versatile," Wilson said. "He can play in the secondary, he can play linebacker, he can play receiver, (can play) tight end, running back, so he's a versatile player for us and he's had a great year. (He's done a) Real good job with his leadership, and just hopefully he'll continue that and it's nice to see."
Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach play at Doug Shaw Stadium at 7:30 on Friday night. The winner move to 7-0 on the year and 1-0 in 4A-VII play.
